Update. I drove it to a friend's house in 30 degree weather. Ride was harsher that trip home from the dealer after install. I attribute most to cold tires.

Weather just not cooperating.........

MORE TO COME

I was in heavy traffic so I was not able to do much with modes or settings but so far I am very favorably impressed. I still think GM should have offered this free, but is the $350 plus tax worth it? - I say yes.
Do you have part number for the 2017 GS suspension upgrade? Do you have the FE6 suspension? My dealer told me last week that it wasn't available yet.
Thanks!

The 2017 Grand Sport did not have all of the changes. Will have mine done as soon as I am comfortable the dealer is prepared! Be great if they do one first. Although my Courtesy Delivery dealer (my preference over the large Chevy dealer in town) is very small but the Service Manager's wife had a 2016 C7! Only their C7 Tech does anything on Vettes.

Might "allow them" to change my oil at the same time as it's 20% from being required! That would be the first time I didn't do my own oil change in all 5 Vettes!

Thanks for the quick feedback. Sounds like my steering setting, which is now "always Sport Mode," may need to be reset.

Will be interesting as now I drive in Touring, which IMO is not much different than my 2014 Z51 was without MRC. Sport is currently definitely "stiffer" than the 2014. Perhaps riding in Sport will OK. Prefer, if possible for the "nannie," etc settings.

I had my 2017 GS w/FE6 done last Friday. At first, the Service Advisor tried to tell me the upgrade wasn't available yet and that he was looking at a bulletin that was just over a week old to that effect. I asked him to talk to the Parts guy I'd talked into calling the Techline to confirm. The SA called me back to confirm that the upgrade was available and make the appt.

The upgrade is well worth it.

Part Number: Code: SPGMISCACT, Description: SPG GL ACT. I'm not sure if this is correct, because it doesn't look anything like the part numbers in the bulletin.

I heard that too. My dealer told me the end of March. I have a 2017 GS with FE6 suspension. If someone is in my shoes and already has the update, please let me know. Thanks.

What timing! Three minutes before I submitted the post. I was typing while he posted. Time to buy a lottery ticket.

Thank you. Going to the dealer today with this info in hand. It will be interesting to see what they say. They love to argue with you and act like you're uninformed.

I just sent the dealer this info. They called the techline. Bingo! Appointment moved from last week of March to this Tuesday!

I'm dropping off my 2017 GS tomorrow at the dealer for a few other service items. Time to add this to the list! Thanks!

Dealer allegedly installed it today. I say allegedly because it felt no different on the ride home, however the invoice does say it may need a full cold to hot cycle to take effect. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Can anyone confirm this is an upgrade for track use on a z07 grand sport ?

What's a hot cold cycle?

Yeah in the service bulletin it says it changes calibration in tour and sport mode, but what about track mode ?

This is were probably the DSC controller has the edge...I'm hesitating between this upgrade and a DSC controller....

Seems the DSC controller upgrades all driving modes

While I was waiting for my 2017 GS upgrade, the service advisor and service tech, with laptop balanced on forearm, came to ask me if I wanted the track upgrade. I wasn't aware that there was a separate upgrade but said sure. A couple of minutes later the tech came back and said the track upgrade was only available for the Z07 package.

I’ll probably stick with the DSC controller then....

I assume it means the car needs to go from starting temperature after sitting for 8 hours to full running temperature.

I drove the car this morning after it sat overnight and I hit the same road imperfections I usually do on daily basis. The car felt exactly the same as before, however once it warmed up to full temperature, I could literally feel the new calibration kick in.....an amazing improvement.

In tour, the car now feels very much like my Mercedes SL550 did in sport mode which, to me, was the best combination of comfortable ride and excellent handling I've ever had.....but without the extra 800 pounds of weight of the fat Mercedes. Sport mode now feels like the old touring mode, but the tires seem to keep better contact with the road...less chatter. The structure of the car does feel more solid, a result of the softer tuning I assume.

Overall, money well spent. Once I get rid of the run flats, I'm sure it will be even better, although I'm completely happy with it now.

I would jump at on it if I thought it would make the ride softer and less harsh. Thanks
I too have a 14 base and a 17Z06. I would very much like to have a softer ride setting on the Z06 than it has! I prefer driving the 14 base because of the harsh unforgiving ride of the Z06 !!!!!!

Car has to sit for 8-10 hours after the calibrations have been updated. Clearly stated in the instructions that have been posted on the forum multiple times.
