Default Do I drive or fly?

So, I have to travel to Orlando, Florida from central South Carolina on business in the middle of March. I always fly, but I guess I could drive this time. Of course, my Arctic White mistress has just spent a very sad, depressing, and lonely winter in a cold, barren detached garage. She misses the human touch; of that, I am sure. Do I fly and leave her alone yet again? I am conflicted....

My wife and I are going to Melbourne Florida in May for 2 to 3 weeks from South Jersey. We are planning on taking "The Vette". My suggestion would be if time allows it........take the vette!

Have to disagree...

Part of the joy of ownership of great cars is talking with people about them...

...when people find out you're one of the nice Corvette owners, rather than "the other kind" - they go away with smiles and stories and the next time someone says, "Corvette owners are snobs and jerks... they'll say, "Not all of them. I met the nicest....:"

Always be an ambassador for our cars....

It's not like you are snowed in or anything.

I would occasionally get people coming up to talk to me when I had my C5 and C6, but not as much as I've seen happen so far with my C7! I really love talking to people though, I'm a very outgoing friendly person (even though I come across as grumpy on here sometimes!) and I always take the time to answer people's questions about my car. I am looking forward to meeting a lot of new people this summer when I go on a few road trips (first one that is planned so far is to Indy in June for Bloomington Gold, I'm really looking forward to that!)

Drive it. My father lives in Sumter, SC and I've taken my C6 and my C7 Z to his house a few times. It's about an 8 hour drive for me. I-10 to I-95.

I’ve been having the same debate but my trip is 25 hours, from NJ to Austin TX this coming May, I’ve decided to drive, and I can’t wait!

Well we are having beautiful weather. 77 and sunny today. Up to 80 by Wednesday. Take that beauty for a ride!

Drive unless you own your own plane.
In the event you run into a tsa agent or a flight attendant that decides they don't like you, you could very well end up in jail though no fault of your own. All the rights you think you have are totally suspended in an airport and on an airplane.
