I got annoyed at how much he missed, or questions he had that could have been answered if he would have spent a few minutes talking to an owner.
Also the cupholder thing was making an issue out of nothing, like an infomercial.
I also think his dougscore was pretty unfair. Mostly the car is pretty practical, I don't understand how it can get a 3 out of 10 on comfort. Also 6 for design is ridiculous. The car gets so many looks, and I have a regular stingray.
I watch a lot of his videos. Not for his commentary, but he does a decent job zooming in and showing all the details of the cars he reviews.
Which is why it was surprising to see how much he missed on the Z06. Like the trunk release, that's huge. And the little Corvette flags in the headlights, why the seats had Competition on them, the storage cubby in the trunk (unless I zoned out for that part of the video). He didn't show the roof storing in the trunk.
I'm also not sure how he gave the car such low scored in design, comfort and practicality. He knocked the Z06 down a peg for its poor fuel economy? It has the best fuel economy out of any sports car on the planet I'm pretty sure. It gets better fuel economy than both my Sedan and the wifes SUV. Both simple V6's.

In the videos I've watched, he appears to have only a rudimentary understanding of the vehicles he is reviewing...
I've seen a couple of his videos and what really strikes me is that he's just not a car guy. He gets tripped up by things like never having seen the high beam switch on the floor before.
As a result whenever he talks about a classic car he commits the crime of comparing it to today's cars and dismissing old cars as almost 'mistakes'. It's weird.
If you're anything like me, if you're car shopping for a vehicle, by the time you get to the dealership you know way more about that car than the salesperson. And that's kind of how I feel watching his videos...
All I know is he has reviewed a ton of cars and must be making a ton of money on YouTube ... There is no way he is gonna know everything about every car he reviews.
Demuro is a superficial douche bag. What really is this guy’s expertise in other than being an opinionated jackass? Who watches this guy anyway?...meh.

Here's the thing, DeMuro hates Corvettes. He has admitted he doesn't like them several times over at Jalopnik, and now on his own page. It may have something to do with the fact that he once worked for Porsche.
He often criticizes the Corvette for interior issues, while with anything European he refers to identical issues as "quirky". Hypocritical to the end.....

Yep. Thats it. If you think this is bad, go watch his C6 ZR1 video. His loathing for the model is palpable.
He just really doesn't like common they are. The guy likes weird and unique things and that isn't corvette. Which to me is the appeal of them, but for him its a non-starter.
You're not the only person to say so, but I've never had a problem with it. But then, I've never tried to put a giant cup in there. Face it; it was not designed for 32 oz "Big Gulp" cups. A "small coffee" is about it. Why? Because the torque tube is right below so there is no room to create any more depth. You'd have to raise that area of the console considerably to do so, which would create awkwardness (and complaints) because it would interfere with the shifter.
In any case, it ls a minor First World Problem. And the only reason the Corvette is not a "super car' is because it doesn't cost twice as much.

Quite the contrary! The Corvette is a supercar. What other manufacturer has produced a car like this with the styling, pedigree, and performance, for the price it is offered at and affordable by the common man? It is for this reason why it truly is a supercar.
