Default Rain in interior

Last night I took my C7 out shopping. Because of all the bags I had to carry I absentmindedly left the drivers door wide open. Unfortunately it rained overnight so obviously the interior door panel got wet and parts of the driver side interior. I realized this morning that I had left the door open and from what I can see it doesn’t appear to be any cosmetic damage. I played with all of the electronics and everything works fine. Does anyone think there is something I should do as a precaution or should I just leave well enough alone? I attached some images

You’ll be fine. Once my wife dropped the hose and the nozzle soaked it so badly there was about an inch of water in the side “map” pocket.

I have the Kalahari as well...nice choice.

I'd use a large fan to blow air through the interior for a few hours if you can.

If you can park it in a garage, open the windows and doors and crank the fan up to get circulation. I'd leave it on overnight. If you can crank the heat in the garage up, even better.

The full Kalahari treatment of 14 and 15 looks so nice on the door. Gorgeous color combo!

If it is warm enough where you are to run the AC then go for an extended drive with the AC set on recirc and set to as cold as you can stand it. In this mode the AC is operating as a very effective dehumidifier and will help to quickly dry out the car.

Thank you for all the advice and complements. The car is nice and dry, everything works, there is no cosmetic damage and the car smells fine

Not sure what you did to dry it but I wouldn't give up yet. If you saturated any of the materials you could still have moisture inside. If you have a fan you can use I'd keep running it in the car for next few days to really move that air around. Wouldn't want anything to begin to mildew.
