Depends on how quickly the ashtrays fill up!

Ordered 2004 Z06 in 2003, and traded it on a 2014 Stingray that I ordered in Feb. 2014... Had to special order since dealer never orders manual transmission for stock.

Starting with the mid engine you might not even have that option just like mercedes doesn't make anything with a manual tranny.

Why would you ever sell? the point is to have one for every day of the week.

As much as I say I’m not going to, I usually keep my “fun” car about a year to a year and half and then switch it for something different. Lately it’s been Corvette’s and CTSV’s.

I only had my first Corvette (my 84) for 3 months (it was a piece of garbage and I couldn't afford to fix it as I was fresh out of college)

I had my C5 for 9 years, and I had my C6 for 4 1/2 years. I plan on keeping my C7 for 15-20 years, if not more!

Off topic, but do you miss your Z? I miss my 2002. The C7 is better in every way, but I really do wish I had kept that car. I often think about getting another one.

Ive had the 95 for 13 years. Now it's the weekend driver.

I've had the 04 for 7 years. It's the daily driver.

If I had a bigger garage I might buy another one.... but there aren't enough days left in the week

Varies....

Kept my C1 (bought new) six weeks. Not a good car.

Have owned four C4s from January of 1990 to September of 2006 - amassed more than 400K miles in those cars - put 186K on my last C4.

Bought an '07 C6 kept it until September '14 - 128K miles

Traded for the C7 September of '14, now have 68K miles on it.... put 18K to 20K a year on it.... will likely keep this car....

I like the older ones so I keep them 'till something more fun shows up: had my '84 for 12 years and working on 4 years with the '96. May go for a ME in my twilight years.

Factory ordered my 93. Factory ordered my 03 Vert. Sold the Vert in 2014, when I ordered my 15 C7. Sold the 93 in 2016.
I'll have the C7 for the rest of my life, which may not be to long if I don't get rid of this damn cough.

No set time period. Had a 2008 Coupe, traded on a 2015 Vert and just traded that on a 2019 Z06 Vert.

1st Corvette was a new 1977 for 18 months: I bought it new for $9,500, drove it 9K miles, and sold it for $9,300.

2nd Corvette in avatar: My new 2017 C7 vert bought in November 2017.

I ordered my first Corvette (2019 GS Convertible M7). If the next gen Corvette is a automatic only, then my current 2019 Corvette would be my last Corvette. Personally, I would not want a sports car that was is an automatic. So I probably will have my 2019 for a long time.
