FE3 is not magnetic ride. It's the base Z51 suspension. Look under your car. If your shocks are yellow, they're not magnetic.

Pull up your trunk carpet and check the label to the left of the battery compartment. You should be able to lift it up enough to read the label without disassembling anything. But be careful. I've heard it can tear easily.

Default It worked!

After sitting for 24 hours in my garage I feel the MRC upgrade done yesterday definitely improved Sport and Touring ride. Consider me a happy camper!

IMHO - the calibration update is insignificant in improving ride compliance!
Total waste of money - GM Scam.
For those that are confused - attached is the Corvette Performance MRC Calibration .pdf

For those that swear they can "feel" the difference after shelling out $350, google "placebo effect", for that's what you are feeling!
I can only feel my wallet got lighter in the calibration!

Check back once the official list finally comes out, but I'd cautiously say you're all set.

I'm trying to compile my own unofficial list of 2017-2018 cars based on feedback here on the forum. If you have one of the following cars, and you've gotten the MRC upgrade, please post your real time damping calibration part number, or PM me.

2017 Z06 w/ Z07
2017 GS w/ Z07
2018 Z06 w/o Z07
2018 GS w/ Z07
2018 GS w/o Z07
2018 Z51
2018 Base
I have the Viteese throttle controller installed on my before I had the update done. Would that have made any differences?
Thanks

Yep, all of us are nuts. We are imagining things, NOT. I'm not sure about your car but Tour mode in mine is Much improved and less harsh on rough roads. I drive in that mode every day so I'm not imagining things. That being said, I can't speak to any claimed performance handling improvements as I haven't had a chance to push the car.

Maybe yours was done incorrectly? When I was at the dealer the other day they said that a car they thought they upgraded didn't "take" and the customer came back. Sure enough it updated into some strange/incomplete state and had to try again. Then it worked.

Yes. Everyone here is imagining things. Orrrr.....your car was programmed incorrectly. Guess which one is more likely?

I've seen that on a 2018 Z06+Z07. I've also seen two other users with 2017 Z51s report numbers in the 884218xx range, so I'd tentatively call yours good.

If GM would release the updated list, we could know for sure.

This is the calibration my car got this week for the upgrade ('17 GS FE6).

Is this the calibration used in the '19 Z06?

Just returned from a ~250 mile round trip on all back roads to the zMAX Dragway with my recent MRC software updated 2017 Grand Sport. Was in Sport Mode the whole trip.

There was ~80 miles on my favorite road in NC, Rt 218! It is on a ridge that parallels 74 and goes to I485.

Great road through farm country with continual twists and turns the whole way. No straight sections. Just staying 8 over the 55 mph speed limit is fun in most cars. On the return there was a BMW Z4 in front of me and the driver used brakes on some curves! Made quick work of passing it.

But passing is not easy! There are many areas marked with one side dashed lines but for a very short distance. When passing have to downshift and get to a higher speed that normal!

To have fun you need to pass slow cars. There are only a few intersections to deal with. The Grand Sport handled like a champ and took all curves with total confidence. Ride was fine, IMO in Sport a bit better than my 2015 Z51 without MRC.

Have been driving the Grand Sport in Touring for a year as Sport Mode was harsher than my Z51 without MRC. Well worth the upgrade cost for me.
