I have always used Bounce dryer sheets and a sonic emitter in my garage and have never seen any trace of a mouse in there. Some use strategically placed mothballs or bars of Irish Spring to discourage rodents.
Rat poison. Once rats got into my garage. Poison killed them all. A good rat is a dead rat. Found a nest of baby rats so I crushed them with a 2x4/and whipped them all in the trash.
good old fashioned traps works for me. just put them against the walls, mice walk following walls.dont even need bait. keep setting them till no more mice
This thread has made me worry about mice. Since I'm parking the GS in the shop for the winter, I think we're going to make one of those bottle/bucket traps. I have poison out, but I kinda want to physically see them in the bucket to see how bad the problem is/isn't.
Fresh Cab works great. Can get it on Amazon or a farm supply store. I put 2 on top of the engine, one on each floor board, and one in the hatch. Couldn't get them last winter and had a hell of a mess. It built a nest all thru my heat and air ducts.
Thanks for the video, best watching I've seen in a long time.
Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it w/ my own eyes.
Rats never stood a chance against a pack of (Rat?) terriers.
Just returned from a two week cruise. Started the garaged Corvette; oh sh-t, coolant leak. The dealership informed me not a warranty problem, but a mouse or rat problem. The little bugger chewed a hole in the coolant return line, a transmission coolant line, the windshield water reservoir and the hydraulic brake reservoir. Eight days and $1300 later the baby is back in the garage. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to prevent a occurrence?
So now you have a rat or mouse in your garage that won't freeze in the winter, shifts about your garage smoothly at a rapid pace, has no problem seeing where he's going and stops on a dime!!!

I never had a clue those terriers were so effective. Fun to watch!
