These are going on my car. I don't get into the run flat vs non run flat debate.

I'm not looking for a debate between run-flat and non-run flat. I'm looking for real world evidence that one rides better and/or is quieter than the other.

BTW, I remember you from the ole LS1 days where Dogmeat and Zed would argue back and forth.

On other similar threads, the opinions depended on your threshold of concern about you or a loved one being stuck somewhere with a non RF tire you cannot fix... As with many issues, RF/nonRF is a matter of personal preference and the potential impact of how/where a tire may be affected.

Since our cars come without flat fixin tools...run flats work just fine for me. Let’s see a little more noise or stranded who knows where? I’ll deal with a little noise.

I went with the run flats. Very pleased with them so far. Got 25,000 miles on the summer only tires but I was tired of waiting for 40+ degree temps, the chattering during slow turns and the loudness of the OEM Summer only tires. Got them at Discount Tire for about $1150 installed.

I've had the run flats for a few weeks. They're fantastic. I don't have complaints about ride or noise.

On my 2017 Stingray I put on the runflats within 1000 miles of buying the car. Also put on new wheels and pressure sensors. Will probably not switch back to summer tires as these are quieter and ride nice and our cool season is so long.

On my 2014 3LT I replaced the Goodyear Run Craps with Michelin A/S Run Flats and the Michelins are much quieter and smoother. The handling was better as well. When the time comes to replace tires on my 2017 GS (and if Michelin makes them by then) I plan on doing the same change. Even though I live in AZ where A/S tires are not really necessary, I prefer them over the regular run flats. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Went with the run flats in December, maybe 2,000 miles so far. Really pleased - no more tight turn chatter or concern for parking outside overnight in the cold (365 day DD for me unless snow on the road). Wish the car came with them!

No noise=NON run flat plain & simple..
The difference driving home from the dealer vs driving back from same dealer after switching was night and day...
I compare it to attending a KISS concert sitting in front of the speakers, to sitting a in piano bar.....
Made that much of a difference!

Put MichPS all season RF on our C5 and they were nice enough for us.
C7 is wife's daily drive and when the OEM's wear out (in about 10yr) will replace with the same MPS AS RF again. Don't want her stranded and with the top down all the time, can't tell a diff in noise anyway.
