I have a 2016 Spice edition conv. It is Blade Silver. There were only 12, 2016 blade silver converts with the spice package produced in 2016 . I ordered mine and picked it up on June 27, 2016. The build date is Jun 6, 2016. I have yet to see another 2016 convert in blade silver with the spice package.

 

 

Gonna need more excitement than this.....

Were the Spice Edition just convertibles of various colors with spice interior or were their other special features?

I have a 2017 Grand Sport coupe with the “Spiced Red” package. It only came with the 3LT and included a complete colored dash. It also came with “Shark Grey” Hood vents and tail light vents.



Sorry for the catalog photo but it gives a better rendition of the color than my pathetic camera.

 

Congrats on new Corvette !I believe it is the Spice Red Design Package. Package was 16 and 17 and available in LBR,AW,BS WGG I might be missing one other exterior color.

I have a 17 GS in Blade Silver with Spice Red you are the first person I know of that has same combo in either year. This was a low combo in regards to numbers my GS is 1 of 11 GS made in 17 in this color combo. I ordered mine and its's number 11. Here are the charts for 17 and 16

Ok, I've seen C7s with spice red interior so it's more a 'trim package' as opposed to a 'special edition' like say a 'collector's edition'?

 

Yes, it is different in that the 3LT Spiced Red interior has a full colored dash where as the other color interiors do not. It also comes with Shark Grey hood vent and tail light vents.

 

Package also included. Dark Red calipers ( addicted Red )
and the
Stingray - Motorsport style wheels.
GS - Machined face aluminum wheels.
Z06 - 10 spoke blade aluminum Peal Nickel wheels.

Red calipers not available with the spice red package in the 2016 stingray, at least not with long beach red. Black calipers only.
