I'm likely a month out from delivery of a GS and currently drive an f-type r as a daily driver. Im in metro NY and commute over major routes both morning and evening rush. Ive always been keeping eye on the thousands of cars i see daily as I sometimes crawl along. Very few f types, more 911s, and masers and extraordinarily few vettes. AM i missing something because mine will out there everyday once it arrives. I did purchase a special winter package for the 911's as well as the jag and its 4 snows and rims mounted on a ford explorer. If the ground isnt filled with snow the z rated tires come out regardless of temp

You might want to consider a set of wheels with AS tires if you will be driving in the winter. I drive mine year round and below 40 degrees traction just goes away. Like "spin the tires in 3rd and 4th" away when it starts to get near freezing.
Hmm those red rimmed black wheels i ordered will likely suffer in a two change a year scenerio- Buying a whole winter set is the solution. Currently jag running z p zeros as i did with porsche and its fun sliding around a bit til they warm up. Just best to avoid putting the rear tires in front of the fronts which is more distinct possibility with non awd car

The Michelin's just never warm up enough when the road temps get down to freezing. I work from home so don't have a driving requirement, but if I have to run errands in temps below 40 I'll use my Suburban
I drove my 2006 Z51 with Pirelli Soto zero pure winter tires for 10 years. OK when it was 10 inches deep ,it became a yellow snow plow, it still went thru the white stuff.
