Default Interior Lighting

Hello everyone,

I just recently purchased a C7 a few days ago and I was wondering, how does one shut off the interior lighting so it doesn't automatically turn on when you enter/leave the car? I love the brightness of it, but sometimes I want to be incognito and shut that off. I've been looking everywhere for a switch that controls all of the interior lighting (on/off/automatic), but I can't find it. I've only had the car for a few days and haven't had much time to drive it yet or look into the manual, so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question

Thanks

No stupid questions just too many technical details for everything.

AFAIK, there is no on-off-auto switch for the interior lights like our Toyotas have had for decades. Would it be possible to deactivate the door switches and just use the switch on the dash to turn them on or off when you want to?

I think your right Jim. I don't know of a way to turn the off either. They're not like the old days when you could just pinch the cover on the little push button in the door jam.

incognito in a corvette? I think that is an oxymoron :-)

Back in my police chief days, I would use my Corvette (red C5 then C6) for some things.
Everyone noticed it but no one figured it would be 'the heat'.

Check the infotainment settings. There's a bunch of interior light settings in there.
