What’d you get in trade in value for the cheerleaders?

Yes, I had a 1998 C5 coupe, a 2006 C6 Vert and a 2015 Z51 C7 Vert. I was very happy with each one but found each generation improved upon the previous one.

1998 Torch Red M6 coupe in front of our new house under construction in Seal Rock, OR in September, 2004.

2006 Monterey Red convertible shortly before we took it on US20 end-to-end road trip, Newport, OR to Boston, MA. Great fun!

2015 Torch Red Z51 that we took from Oregon via US12 to MN, over to Delaware, down to NC OBX and back home via NCM and parts of US66 to Vegas and Sunnyvale. Also, great fun!

Nope. C7 is my first.

I wanted a C5 for a long time. I'll always have a sweet spot in my heart for those. A combination of circumstance and choices lead to that not happening.

I was never very excited by the C6 until the Z06 and Grand Sport came out. So my plan was to get a C6 GS. But then the C7 came out, so I decided to make some different choices and wait it out.

I'm glad it worked out the way it did.

Yup.
2002 C5 Z06
2006 C6 Z06
and now a 2017 C7 Grand Sport.
C7 drives so much smoother than the others! And the technology!! Very happy (but kinda miss the blue color I had for 14 years).

BTW FYRELINE, that green is the second best vette color of ALL TIME! Too bad they stopped using it!

I owned two C6's (they had such a long run: 2005-2013) a 2008 C6Z06 and a 2012 C6GS. They were both very good to me over the years. The new 2017 C7GS is proving to be a step above, as expected.

Yes, I currently have a 1977 C3, 2009 C6 and 2017 C7 (see signature). As awesome of a car as the C7 is, I just could not part with the C6. It might not be as fast as the C7 but I still love driving that car!

No. However my first test drive was a 2010 GS. After that I was sold on the Corvette. Took me until last year to get the 17 Z06. Never even had to drive one.

No, a C5 only... never cared anything about earlier Vettes. Vette lovin' buddy talked me into driving a C5; I came back to the dealer's and ordered one which I still have.

The C6 always appeared to me like a committee design that couldn't decide how it wanted to look... no offense.

I did look at three Vipers about that time, though, and passed on them, as well. Goofy color/stripe combos, one and all. My ALL black '18 C7 took care of that issue.

After a 20 year hiatus from a Corvette (see signature below), I bought a C5, two C6s and then a 2017 C7. What a difference the C7 Grand Sport made!!
