Looking for metallic Prismatic Powder coat product to match 2016 C7 base model gray caliber color. Top swatch is Cadillac Grey PMB 6377, bottom Stealth Charcoal PMB 6547.
The 2 swatches are just examples that bound light and dark. Attention powder coaters What product matches the actual caliper color? Powdercoaing black Z51 front calipers to match original base model color for replacement/upgrade (and yes they fit). GM doesn't make the Z51 calipers in gray. . Not doing wheels.
Why would you match the caliper to wheel color? shouldn't wheel be different color to have contrast? with that said, I'm voting for deeper color on top for wheels.
If both wheel or caliper were SAME color, this wouldn't look this good. my .02
The good thing is the calipers will generally be in the dark wheel wells with no direct contrast to each other. A perfect match is obviously ideal, but a VERY close match will be imperceptible. Keep looking at products from different companies. That bottom one is almost there, despite the blue in it.
I'm not trying to match calipers to wheel. I'm trying to powdercoat black Z51 calipers to match the grey metallic of the original base calipers shown here with a darker and lighter swatch for comparison. Neither of the swatch colors is "close enough".
