Hi Y'all....Can anyone tell me if the 1LT seats in the 2018 Stingray have any lumbar adjustments? I see it listed in the 2LT but all I see in the 1LT is 8-way power seats.
4k bucks for a lumbar manual or power? In this level of car unacceptable it's not standard. That's ridiculous. I have a Loaded 3LZ with a design package and other options. My point is if someone wants lumbar they have fork over a ridiculous amount of money and optionS for no reason other than some bean counter KNOWING most people want lumbar and will pay through the rear for it. It's a money grab.
Average age of a corvette owner is what 61? You think the Average corvette owner would like some lower back support? Lol. Either that or make the car 4k more and call it the base. To not have it in a 50k plus car is a joke imo.
I bought A 2014 C7 1LT new.I believe most of the options are A waste of money.Much of it can be had thru aftermarket and save quite A bit.I’m 67 and don’t need any extra support.
Car and Driver dissected/compared the c6 and c7 seats at inception. Same manufacturer. The tell-tale phrase was "The (c6) side bolsters flex under light pressure" inferring that was a bad thing. My wife and I learned after 12 years of driving to Florida in one day (900 miles) in c6's, both cheap 1LT and more expensive finishes, that the flex was a GOOD thing. No pain from the seating whatsover. Our inaugural trip (an easy 600 mile/day) in the new c7 1lt two weeks ago resulted in back pain for both of us where that new c7 stiff side bolster gave no quarter to our aching backs. No Pain, No Gain, i suppose.

Actually, it's an options package. The original question was, does the 1LT have lumbar support? The answer is "No." Reading other threads here it appears most people feel the 2LT/2LZ package is the best bang for the buck because, of course, it comes with a whole lot more than lumbar support for that $4K. It's the 3LT/3LZ that people think is a money grab, which is what you have. Enjoy that Napa Leather because that's about all you got for that extra $5K.*
* Most 2LT cars I have seen come with PDR/Nav as an option anyway, so that is not exclusive to the 3LT
If you can't afford at least a 2LT you're not going to get any of the optional upgrades and goodies that make the C7, a lot more comfortable.
Did you buy your base Stingray because you are a seriously budget minded buyer or because you couldn't afford the additional performance of a Z51, GS or Z06?
Many buy the base Stingray because they prefer it over the other models just like many choose the 1LT as they prefer it over the other trim levels.
C7 seats suck drove 900 miles one way almost couldn't walk hip still hurts. My wife's old 2004 infinity g35 coupe did my right hip the same way.
