Like it says in the title line - delivered my new vette this was in the trunk empty, have no clue what it is best guess looks like a lug nut ratchet ...? No clue -?

Cars delivered to Europe are required to have tow hooks.
So a Vette built for and delivered to Europe has a tow hook in that location, but the tow hook does not come with Vettes delivered in the U.S.
Bottom line - for our U.S. cars the tow hook storage compartment will be empty.

But if you need to have the car towed in the US you will need a tow hook to avoid damage to the car. I'm curious as to why they didn't include such a simple item with the cars in the US?
