Default Info Screen Not Operating Properly

My first problem with my '14 just occurred. I have not tried to fix it myself yet so I thought I would ask you guys if any of you have had the same thing happen on your Vette.

The information screen that lowers and raises, just started having an intermittent problem. It lowers correctly 100% of the time, but gets stuck and the bottom when attempting to go up. This occurs about 80% of the time. The screen will rise with very gentle pull on the top of the screen.

Anything to look for while I am trying to fix this?

I just had mine get stuck in the about 80% down position. Turned out to be the steel case for my glasses that shifted and got jammed in. Just make sure nothing in the cubby has shifted and is getting caught where the cubby side meets the screen.

1. You might try a light spray of silicone lub along the edges and tracks of the screen. Run it up and down several times. Don't get the spray on the front of the screen! Maybe mask it off first.

2. Get a Bin Buddy fer cryze sake!

I have looked to see if anything fell between the guides and/or screen and have not seen anything. I plan on spending more time with a brighter light and a very small mirror.

I did not think about the silicone spray lube. I will try that in addition to looking to see if anything fell between the screen and/or guides.

I have a Bin Buddy.
