Remote starting issue
I have a 2014 auto trans Z-51. After the engine starts with the remote starter mode on the fob, the owners manual says in order to begin driving the car, press the start/stop button. Upon pressing it, the two display screens light up. I'll then put my foot on the brake and the engine turns off. My question is how do I keep the engine running to drive the car. The owners manual doesn't explain this procedure very well. Thanks!

I always put my foot on the brake when pressing the start button, just as if I was starting it from scratch.
Try doing that, and see if it does the trick.

I think owc6 nailed it - gotta do it in the right order: foot on brake pedal, then hit starter button.
Also be aware that when you remote start, the engine will shut off on its own after about 10 minutes or so.
And..........welcome to the forum!!!
