Unfortunately, so far as I could tell, it made no difference.

Given the choice I would always take the convertible for street duty. Driving the convertible is NOTHING like driving with the targa off. Different car. Different sound, different drive.
But the coupe is going to be safer in any (obviously) rollover or even side-impact collision. I do worry about that aspect of things! Maybe that's why God invented the S63 Cab for the street and I should have a Z07 Coupe for the track and stop mixing!

As a side note, my wife and I often drive several other vehicles we own with the front windows open, and get a similar resonance. On the sedans, we simply crack open a rear window a few inches and that relieves the pressure similar to that C5 device.

Yesterday it was 75 with bluebird skies so I drove 2 hrs each way to Branson, Mo. to pick up Legends of Golf tickets for my daughter & I at the "will call" center rather than leave earlier Fri. A.M. to pick them up. Top was off both ways, sunscreen on my shaved head, & music blasting. You poor babies up North.

Had the top down yesterday, might only be the second day this year! Such is life in Seattle, but I bet there are still Zs trapped in the garage in the midwest for a while!
That's another nice thing about the convertible relative to the targa: if you want it down, up to 35 mph, just push a button. Get chilly and want it back up? Push a button.

Not to be nit-picky, but the top should only be operated up to 31 mph.

If you want to be that way about, you're wrong, because it's actually 50km and the car keeps the math internally in metric so the actual answer is 31.0686! ;-)
Nonetheless, I just push the button and let the car decide. I only do it on roadways posted for 35 and that won't obstruct anyone.
It's much nicer than my M3 which tops out around 20, and you can't do that in traffic very practically.
Pick your Seattle dream car. That's what I drive on the rainy days. Then I drive the Z pretty much from now through September. Not sure why that merits an LOL, the summers are gorgeous here. We've just got too many people moving here already, don't want everyone to know! So keep it quiet.

I put the side windows up about half way and I have no problem listening to the radio at 75 MPH. I drive mine every day, even go grocery shopping. It can hold quite a bit of groceries in the back. I won't let the baggers from the store put the bags in it though. I guess I save money that way. Nothing but love for my Black Betty.
