Rattling/buzzingl
I have been trying to isolate this rattling and buzzing for a month. I thought it was coming from the rear speaker housing on the drivers side. But I discovered when I hear the rattling and metallic buzzing noise, when i press my finger firmly into the space where the roof latch connects it stops. The problem is it doesn't do it all the time. When it does it, it can be warm or cold outside. Mainly rough road but has happen on smooth roads also. Have gone on many rides where the car is solid as a rock no rattles at the start of the trip but on the return after about 40 miles it starts. Brought it to the dealer he cleaned and lubricate the latch. Said it was fixed took it for a ride and it first like usual no noise. Then hit some rougher road and "it's back". Taking it back to the dealer. Taking the tech for a ride and hope it makes noise. It probably won't. I'm going to ask him to replace that latch mechanism to see if it helps. The car is great really not one rattle EXCEPT this one. Driving me crazy. I'm thinking about just shoving something up into that space to put pressure on it to maybe stop it. Corvette is a 2017, build in April of 2017. Any suggestions or help?

The rear latch can be rotated to tighten it's pull down on the roof which might get rid of the noise. I believe there is a small allen head screw, which needs loosened, which tightens against the latch to keep it from coming loose while top is off. Also check that both rubber grommets are on the frt. pins of the top that fit into the holes in frame above windshield.
