1-4 shift message stuck
Got the usual 1-4 shift message when accelerating in 1st gear. I usually accelerate further, the message usually disappears and then I shift to 2nd. I say "usually"; however, I was going through this sequence yesterday - the 1-4 shift message appeared simultaneously with my Bluetooth connected phone receiving a call. Not sure if the two events affected each othe, but the 1-4 shift message would not disappear no matter which gear or speed I subsequently changed. I could only clear (dismiss) the message by switching out of Tour mode and back again. Only then did the shift message go away. Has anyone else had this happen?

One of the interesting things about hanging out on these forums is hearing new issues for the first time. This is one of those, never heard this before.
However, in the age of software-driven cars, any glitch is possible. I wouldn't worry about it if after shutdown and reboot you don't see it again. If you can't duplicate the issue at a service department, it's not even worth taking it in. I'm gonna take a wild guess you'll never see it again, and it was just a display freeze associated w/ the phone call.

I get the message on an inconsistent basis-one time it will flash letting me know another time no message and I am locked out of 2nd when I shift. Of course I know to shift above 18mph but sometimes situationally I forget.
