2014/bluetooth/GoogleMaps

I don't use Google Maps every since installing Waze (which is owned by Google now). Waze works, bluetooth streaming audio (from Youtube, etc) works, voice calls work, etc.
First thing to check, make sure Google Maps navigation voice over bluetooth is enabled -- Click the menu icon top-left, go to Settings, Navigation Settings, make sure Play Voice over Bluetooth is enabled.
Second, make sure that you have your phone selected as the audio source on the head unit - you can't get bluetooth voice instructions while the radio is in AM/FM/XM, etc. It has to be set to the Phone audio.
Finally, if that doesn't work - try unparing the phone from the C7, delete the pairing on the phone, reboot the phone, and re-pair and see if it works.

When you hook AA up check to make sure the sound isn't muted. There will be a box that pops up, and in the upper right corner you will see the little speaker icon. It happened to me.
