My convertible top (when up) is really starting to squeak and pop a lot. It's not a wind noise, more of a joint metal-on-metal sound. I could have sworn I read on here something about replacing screws to resolve this, but I have been unable to find the previous post. Has anyone experienced this?
There was a bulletin (#17-NA-278) dated 8/29/17 dealing with "creaking" or "snapping" noises coming from the roof while driving that called for the replacement of the screws on the vert ribs. The original screws apparently lost their torque and the new screws are slightly larger.
I have not had an issue since they replaced the screws in Sept '17.
Yes Sir! That is what I am referring too. Could not find that.
