That's an easy one to answer...

"Mine!" LOL

Reminds me of the answer to the age old question on a hot summer day of which is your favorite beer...

I have a 2015 Z51 Coupe in Night Race Blue, 3LT with Brownstone interior, and Magnetic Selective Ride.

Only 57 in that color combination made.

Love MSR, sport mode primarily, everywhere.

Z51 seems to be a sweet spot in price/performance, IMHO.

2014 Premiere Edition convertible (Mine is #219 of 550). Relatively rare, very well-equipped, and exactly what I wanted.

2017 LT2 Stingray, Blade Silver with the black chrome options. I’d get the exact same thing again, money aside, it’s the Vette I need. In particular because I want to run it with all season tires, and those are best fit on the base stingrays.

Also, really like the LT2 interior. My previous Vette was an LT3 (2014 C7), and I like the LT2 better. Granted is newer and just a bit tighter and nicer on the inside, but where I thought my LT3 sort of fell short in comparison to other nice interiors (you will see my 2015 911 Turbo in another thread), the LT2 interior is perfectly compatible, if not even better than a Porsche base interior, so I like it for what it is.

actually, I love it. Great Vette and I’m not looking for a better one.

I guess it depends on how you want to use the car-track the Z06, extremely aggressive driving the GS or Z51, cruising the base Z.

OP asked three questions:

Which C7 is Best C7?
The ZR1, obviously. Gone is the AFM, the restricted cooling capacity, the silly skip-shift feature. Added is more heat exchangers than a Bugatti Veyron, Port Injection - which will eliminate valve crudup and it's resulting horsepower degradation, and solid performance numbers to give street cred including 24hrs of VIR to it's hyped-advertising.

But, the ZR1 will not have the cachet of a limited edition, imported from Europe supercar. So, alas, it will be trashed and forgotten 'bout, much like the 90's ZR1. Fan boys will continue to chase the Ferrari equivalents of both this time and that time and pay mega bucks for cars that were beat by ZR1's all the time. I think it was reported yesterday that a 90's ZR1 went for 18K at a major auction this past week. Try getting a '90's Ferrari for that price.

What model do you have and why???
The best c7 for me is the one I just bought brand new in March for $55k: z51, vert, mrc, A8, all the right color options. Of course Chevy wanted much, much more for it, like $71k. That is how fickle public opinion can be when it doesn't have magic names like Z06 or Grand Sport attached to it. But it does the 45 mph speed limit on the Blue Ridge Parkway just perfectly (and shh! I like to drive slower with the top down in tour mode and the motor burbling in track sound mode, sinful!)

As for the ZR1 and me? Well VIR still hasn't changed it's rules, and the only ZR1 I would consider, a vert, still can't run around that silly little track. OTOH, I can see the USA in my 1/3rd price Stingray.

Well the best one for me is my 2019 Z06 Convertible. Too much power for the street just the way I like it a bit too much.

Best C7 is the newest and most optioned one you can comfortably afford. In my case it was a 2017 Grand Sport 1LT

I'm partial to mine. Torch Red, 1LT, Z51. I'd buy another one just like it!

2018 Sebring Orange Z51 Convertible M7. 1 of 1 for the 18MY. Actually 2 were produced, but the other was an A8. BG didn't start painting SO in the new paint facility until the last couple of weeks of the 18 model run.

The one sitting in my garage!

I wish I had more pictures but we haven't had too many sunny days since I got it.

14 2lt with z51 and mag ride.

While I love the idea of the power and capabilities of the Z06 and ZR1, I have plenty of learning to do to be able to get close to the limits of this one.

Best one for the Track is the ZR1. Best for long trips and cruising with no race tracks in your future is the Stingray.
If I would have made the right selection for me after owning a Corvette Stingray and after driving my son's Z06 occasionally, it would be the Z06 hands down. You don't have to track it to appreciate the torque and HP.

Of course, which is exactly what this thread illustrates, given the wide diversity of preferences and types of use.
