C7 or C6 - which to buy? Comparison Video
Guys,
I have a C5 and love it but as you know, cant't stop dreaming of the next one... Unlike marriage, with cars it seems like there always has to be a next one... Anyway, put together a video to gather some thoughts. Hope you enjoy!

Hey, It's a Corvette. If I wanted just good looks, I could have saved a bunch and stayed with my C5. I wanted performance and there's no doubt about it, the C7 has the power and the technology to apply it to the ground that makes it head and shoulders a better car than the C6. Just like the C6 is better than the C5, the C5 is better than the C4.... and so on.
Don't think I'll be subscribing to a vid that's focused on arbitrary appearance. What will be discussed next, cup holders?

I like the c6 (had 4) because:
1. the seat was more comfortable (had 2 1lt and 2 2lz seats)
2. the motor is port injection, no worries ever about valve crudup if you use detergent gasoline. And, drum roll, the GM engine team went back to a combo port injection/direct injection on the new c7 ZR1 motor. GM's long term direct injection engine tests told them more than they will ever admit to the public; except to reduce the current c7 power train warranty to 60,000 miles vice the old 100,000 miles in the 2014 and 2015 model years.
3. The A6 tranny was near bulletproof.
4. No AFM v4 motor destroyer.
5. The vert 1lt had a manual top, which will last purt near forever.
6. The interior is larger. Both my wife and I feel like we are being loaded into torpedo tubes in the C7, there is much more room in the C6, and in the C6 than the C5. (I sat in my brothers C5 pasenger seat, which felt as cramped as the C7 passenger seat)
I like the c7 (own 1 curently) because:
No matter how many warts on the C7 that are discussed in this forum, Chevy really, truly built a better sports car than the C6 with the C7. Just like the C8, no matter how much mud is slung, will be a better sports car than the c7.

C6 is great for someone just getting into the Corvette world or moving up from one of the other older generations.
As for comparing the C6 with the C7 I think everyone down deep knows the C7 is a much improved version over the C6.

I almost bought a C6 years ago. Loved the exterior (and still do), but could not warm up to the interior. The C7 interior was a major part of our decision to go with our TR vert.

C7 everything improved, most beautiful designed Corvette ever. C6 was just the right steep of a good direction toward what the C7 is. You decide, is your deal.
