Just drove Lola back to STL from BG. 315 miles in less than 5 hours with two stops for bio breaks. Average speed 78 mph, average fuel economy 28.7 mpg !! This thing loves to bore clean holes through the air as long as the cruise control is on and there is gas in the tank.
Lola is a 2014 VIN#1209. Z51 with all performance options and a very reliable and super efficient A6 transmission.
I know from experience she will do 160 mph just as well. What's not to love ? I know everyone is excited about the next shiny object, but as an engineer, I have to say GM did one Hell of a great job on this car - going on 5 years now and ZERO problems, and 28.7 mpg at nearly 80 mph !!
