I notice on my '15 base Z51 a slight pull to the right. Enough so I have to keep left pressure on the steering wheel to keep it in the lane. Does it both in the passing & driving lane. I thought maybe it's the way the road is crowned but don't know for sure. Is it worth thee $$$$ dollars to have it checked or wait until I see the wear pattern on the new Michelin's A/S?
Get it aligned. Many are out of whack from the factory. Or it could have been aligned and is now out of spec. I get this done every year or two, should probably be every year because our roads get pretty chewed up over the winter.
You may not get any added wear due to the pull. A car will pull to the side with the least positive caster and/or the most positive camber or to the side with a tire that has more rolling resistance. That doesn't mean the caster or camber settings by themselves are wrong but that the cross caster or cross camber setting isn't close enough. There is a spec for cross caster and camber, however, the tolerance is as wide as a barn door.
What happens when you drive across a parking lot that has no crown?
Not knowing too much about how MRC works, I thought that the alignment could be affected if you change driving modes from Touring to Sports/Track while mid-turn.
This new fangled technology can be baffling at times.
I had my local Chevy dealer just do mine the day after I installed new tires. The tires cost me about $1,500 for tires, shipping and installation. The alignment was around $100. My car wasn't pulling, but they provided a before and after report and there were slight adjustments made to all four corners. I figured 1 alignment is far less expensive than pre-maturely wearing out my new Michelins.

MSRC does not affect alignment. It simply varies the firmness of the shocks.
