Default Seat memory behavior

2017 Z06, since picking up the car, I have had to manually recall driver seat position. Not a big deal but seemed clunky. Then today, when leaving the office, I went to do that and seat went to a strange position. I figured maybe I had brushed the buttons and somehow accidentally reprogrammed it by brushing the buttons when it was in the exit position, but it wasnt quite the exit position. So I readjusted and drove home. When I got home, I fine tuned position and then reprogrammed #1. Turned off, opened the door and it went to exit position. To test it, I closed door, turned on, and it automatically went to #1. Never had it do that before.
Has anyone else seen this?
Is there a way to lock out programming of positions unless you really mean to?

Do you have easy exit on where the seat moves back on exit? If so, you may be moving the seat a little too far back and there is a sensor the keeps the seat from returning for some reason. This issue has been reported in the forums before, but I can’t remember where I found it.

I do have easy exit on. I never set it's position as it seemed OK, but I will try making it less extreme.
