Third time my Vert top (2016) has not been working. Dealer replaced the top latch twice and top is not working again today. The top and trunk latch are on the same circuit. Is there a recall on the trunk latch? I was going to inform the dealer to check that since they can't get to the bottom of it.

There is a recall, it came out several months ago. Had it done to my 2016 Z Vert.

 

My 2016 Trunk failed to open. I cycled the Top up and down and then the trunk opened ok. Had Recall done on Trunk and no problems since. Never had problem with Top not operating.
Trunk and Top are tied together so you cannot operate the Top with the trunk not completely closed.
I have not removed the Trunk shield that keeps cargo away (or not blocking) Top. There is some sort of protection switch so that the Top is not operated if it is not installed properly.

On my third try here with the dealer to correct this

 

He's going to needed to plug it in to a computer to reprogram one of those dang compooters as I understand the process. Took all of approx. 15 minutes for my dealer.
