If you would choose to read the thread rather than popping off, you would have seen entry #28. This is where I explained where the median age is compiled and what it used for as well as its importance. In other posts I also pointed out a simple Google inquiry would give you the information as it is readily available.

Or, are you one of those who want to tell us all about your education but have little to no reading comprehension?

(a) When trying to pose as an intellect I suggest that you attempt to get your verbs and nouns to agree with each other
(b) I didn't tell you "all about" my education, I told you about some electives I took.

My point, which you missed, is that the vast sum total of your contribution to Corvette Forum was to tell people to Google it for themselves and to be annoying while doing so.

All you had to do was say something useful like:

"The median age of Corvette buyers is 61; this means there are as many under the age of 61 as over it, so that very old or very young individuals do not adversely skew the number."

See that stuff in blue? That's a post with information. People like those. Be like me.

The median income would still be in the hundreds of thousand despite Mr. Gates and thus would be more representative.
BINGO

Very astute comment! There are some that can still think intelligently. Maybe there is hope for you humans.

I’m 31 and I just ordered my first one. My dad had one back in 1981 at age 27. Family tradition!

Anyone have the data on C7 Corvette owners as opposed to buyers? Personally while I could have bought a Corvette in my 30's I'm way too careful with money so I waited. I would guess that the median age of C7 owners is lower than that of C7 buyers but I'd be curious to see the data if anyone has a source.

Don’t you have to be a buyer before you can be an owner...unless it was gifted to you or purchased used?

One thing to point out is parents buying kids corvettes. On paper my late 50s father owned a corvette, but never once drove it lol.

Yeah, I meant purchased used. Meaning that there are probably a lot of younger buyers that can't justify or swing a $50K toy purchase but really like Corvettes. Buying used is a definite option to get into the game. Personally I waited until I could buy new but that also meant I was without a Corvette for 15 years or so.

Apparently you know next to nothing about mathematics. Your posts lack credibility.

Apparently you aren't considering that aliens are delivering free Corvettes to select owners. Never considered that huh?

I think I do. But then you never actually say or contribute anything other than peanut gallery chatter, so it's hard to know if you're a bot or not.

BTW, loved your essay on how you either have to buy or be gifted an item to own it. I never thought of it before, really a fascinating take on the whole possession paradigm. I can't wait for your longer treatment.

That job allowed me to get ahead of my age curve and take care of getting a house/wedding/wife’s car a little earlier than my buds. 27 here. Just got my first Corvette a few months ago. Same place as you. Kids are a few years off. Enjoying life now!

JD Power has a business that does just that and with sampling that makes it it statistically meaningful! For a "small fee" they could do that for you!

My experience with even phone/mail out market surveys done by pro's is the cost is $100,000 now what is it you want to know! Some internet systems like SurveyMonkey are cheap but the results often match the price!

Paid even more for focus group studies where you sit behind a one way mirror and watch folks discuss whatever for an hour or more with a trained pro leading the discussions. Lots of places in major cities that have such facilities!
