Default Protection plans

Have 2017 gs. How do you feel about protection plan offered by gm thru DEnny. Bestquote for me low mileage. Only have 5600 miles in almost 3 years. 48 months coverage i platinum plancost $745.oo with $100 deductible or $800 with 0 deductible. Seems to cover most of the car. I don't usually buy warranty but this is tempting. Please advise and give your experiences

I have a 17 GS and will also be getting a GM extended warranty when my Bumper to Bumper gets down to around 3 months remaining. My car is just coming up on 1 year for the in service date. I had a extended warranty on my 04 and with all the electronics in the 17 I will be getting one. Will be looking to see what others say.

There are at least 20 threads that already discuss this topic in detail and answer your question many times over.

Simply do a search by typing in “Warranty”.

i for one like the warranty threads. I don't have time to search 4 hours reading through pages of post. Could you just ignore and not open the warranty threads? Some of us appreciate original post

I assume you're asking about Dennis at Denny Menholt Chev. You can trust them, I had a smooth and easy transaction.

Remember, a 48 month plan is only 1 year over your original 3/36. The extended warranties start on the purchase date of the car. Call them before you buy to make sure you get the plan you need.

I thought I should correct your statement, the warranty doesn't start on the car In Service Date, it starts from the day you buy the warranty and from miles at that time.

Hey everyone check out our new warranty website, it is awesome and send your request for a quote thru it.

^^ Dennis , Thanks for posting the different plans. My plan is to contact you when my OEM warranty has about three months remaining and purchase the Platinum Plan. Am I correct on the amount of time before expiration. I don't want to over lap warranties. Is my thinking right ? What is the most years with lowest miles? Thanks Dave

17 GS
