Would someone post all that we now know about the warble in one short post so we have are the parameters of when the warble occurs?
For instance:
At what RPM does it happen?
Does the gear matter?
In what Drive Mode (track, sport, eco etc.)?
Must it be in V4 or will it happen in V8 also?
Why is it intermittent and not continuous in nature?
What is the current GM protocol to fix the problem?
If you drive in sport and it rarely goes into v4 will it still happen?
etc.
I think we would all appreciate a short post that only has the pertinent info on it. Although I could be wrong and only I would. LOL
Happens at 1500 RPM and vehicle in an incline - it is intermittent because roads are typically flat and you don’t often drive on just roads with an incline.
V4 and V8 as well as any driving mode or gear.
Cause is rear differential. Fix is replacement of rear differential although some report draining and replacement of fluid to ensure properly filled has resolved the issue.
I understand that there are numerous pages. Over a 100+ all told building up for years. That is why I wanted the latest info in one short current thread so those of us without a lot of time do not have to read the novel length posts. LOL
Thanks i3KC for the info.

All C/7, A/8 base model. Intermitting around 1500 rpm/48 mph, depending on road conditions. It happens in all conditions and modes.
Current G/M protocol is to verify and replace rear end assembly. Faulty ring and pinion gear is the problem.
