OEM x-pipe: difference between auto/manual?
Just wondering what the difference was between the OEM x-pipe for the manual vs. the one for the automatic.
Manifolds and mufflers between auto/manual are apparently the same (same part numbers), so the end attachment points must be the same. But there are two different part numbers for the mid-pipe for the two transmission types.
Extra bends? Different shape? Seems like GM wouldn’t go through the expense of transmission-specific midpipes unless they really HAD to.
