Default Future Corvette owner here

My dealership called today to inform me that my car was built yesterday.

How long should it take for the car to get to NJ?

I'm dying to have it for Memorial Day weekend.

I ordered a convertible Z51, white, with carbon flash hood stinger stipe, side mirrors, spoiler, black tires, red brakes and red interior, 2LT package.

I'd say there is a good possibility of that happening. I took delivery of mine 13 days after it was built, Blade Silver ZO6 coupe here, 7M, 3LZ, Jake Hood Stinger, 2 tone red/black seats, Level 3 Aero and Spectra Gray wheels. Good luck, and enjoy!!

Corvettes are shipped only as a full 11 car trailer from BG. Unless your dealer is Kerbeck, who gets 2 or 3 Corvette deliveries per week, it will be on a transport truck that makes deliveries of Corvettes to 3 or 4 dealers in your area. It sometimes takes 7-10 days to get that many cars into a local area queue in addition to the 5-7 days the cars ordinarily take to go from out the factory door to ready to load and 2 days to get to NJ.
Since Memorial Day weekend is 8 days from now, I wouldn't count on it.

^^^ I'm located an hour north of Kerbeck.

I'm just hoping being in Monmouth County, with areas like Rumson, Colts Neck, Marlboro, etc. that enough people have ordered vettes besides me.

I spoke to my dealership today. They expect it to be here next week.

I'm going to botch what they told me, so if anyone can decipher it, it would be greatly appreciated. They said there was like a 5 day charge or bill on it...does that sound right. It was something along the 5 days, which made my dealership think it will be here next week. They said the travel time from the factory is 2 days (Kentucky to NJ).

My car will be built on May 21 and I pick it up from the museum on 5 June. They said it would take up to 5 days at the factory for tests, checks, etc, before releasing to transportation to drive it over to the museum and then the usual inspection, detail prep for delivery. Granted, I had to get in line for the delivery.

My car is in!!!

Built on the 15th, delivered yesterday.

I'm signing the paperwork at lunch, grabbing the keys and picking it up tonight.

Too bad it's going to thunderstorm all weekend.
