C7 Z51 Stingray

C7 Z51 Stingray
Hello everyone.
I own a 2015 Z51 3LT in Laguna Blue.
I am looking to paint my front grill Carbon Flash along with the strip down the hood.
The question is where should I get it done? What should I look to pay for it? And what is the most I should pay?
Attached an image of my Vet.
If you think I should leave it alone and keep it the same. Just let me know.

I like the Stinger stripe on the C7s and the grille would look good painted CF. I say go for it. As an alternative to painting the hood stripe, consider getting a vinyl stripe made. That way if you ever change your mind, it can be easily removed.

Would the Vinyl Stripe be a lot more money?

Here’s what I did...
I’ve got the Laguna Blue Z51 as well and one of the first things I did was to simply get a roll of faux carbon fiber tape and cover up that chrome strip. Then I removed the fish badges from the fenders. Most recently I swapped out the chrome crossed flags emblems on the nose and back for the carbon flash set.
Here’s what it looks like now with those few subtle changes...
I also thought about that stinger stripe on the hood, but eventually decided to keep it as is.

I would quote $2,500.00 plus supplies charge, to do the job.
I think it would make the car "pop!"

Did you take off the grill to tape it or its possible without taking it off?
Should I buy something like this
Should I buy this for the Vinyl Stripe?http://https://www.ebay.com/itm/2014...raMT7bxy-Awg7A

Simply apply this tape to the bright chrome strip across the grill...look for it on Amazon.com. I did not remove the grill...just carefully stick it on and trim the edges with an exacto knife or similar. Tuck the bottom edge in with a credit card and trim the top edge with that knife. There's plenty of tape in that roll so if you mess up, you can try it again until you get it right.

I added the Z06 grill (with cameras). Looks way beefier. I also replaced the chrome badges with black flash badges.
I personally think racing stripes on street cars look cheesy, but whatever floats your boat.

I’ve had this on my car for about a year through rain, bugs, washes and it still looks like I just put it on. There is a similar product by 3M that costs more...so I guess it must be “better”...not sure how much better it can be given the results I’ve enjoyed with what I got.

I had mine ordered with Carbon Flash mirrors, spoiler etc but it had the chrome strip in the grille! I asked detailer to put some black wrap film over it. Now it looks great! See below!//Motors5
