Ever since I've owned this car the driver side door panel has been misaligned. It's out of warranty if a few months and it's kinda bothering me. Is this something you guys would get fixed under warranty? Thanks!!
Take it in, they can fix it. That piece on the door panel can be adjust to line up with the dash. There is a good chance theyll destroy a few of the plastic clips when they remove the door panel which will make the door panel a bit loose on some edges so make sure to tell them to replace any damaged clips.

Lots of people complain about detail items like yours while the car is under warranty. I've seen repair orders with a list of items like yours that had ten different line items on them. Its all about how picky you are, but "bumper to bumper" means just that.
For the record, I would complain about it. Clearly it does not fit right.

Ok thanks guys. I'll bring it it this week. I know is a mass produced car but my 2006 Ram 3500 does not even have a panel this misaligned. And it seems to be getting worse.

I’ve read about this in the past and observed that mine is perfectly aligned, so don’t let them BS you that it’s normal, because it’s not. Get it fixed... but as mentioned, be aware that it’s likely that they’ll break a few door clips in the process.
Pop the silver face-plate off, loosen all the screws (I believe there are 4, maybe five; I don't remember), push it up until it's aligned and re-tighten all the screws; replace silver face plate; situation resolved. Worked for me anyway.

If it were certain what the issue is, exactly, it might be worth exploring a fix... but, given my experiences with Shivvy dealers I'd be afraid the odds were more apt I'd get it back worse off, and not necessarily directly regarding that issue.
Four of four times my C5 went in for minor warranty work it came back with something related screwed up. My C7 will go in ONLY for critical care, I assure ya... and that to a dealer 70 miles away.
Your car, your dealer, your call. Best of luck, in any event.
Just remembered there was a pic of this and it looks like there are 4 screws and I forgot that you'll have to pop (up) the power-window trim first, before you can pullout the silver trim piece.
^^
FWIW, that pic reminded me of a concern about adding a seat colored "spear' to my door after I installed a seat colored upper dash trim to my 2LT.
There is a custom made aftermarket spear sold (expensive) and a there is a pic says it can be removed without removing the door panel. Other posts say it cannot. A post recently reinforced those that say it must the door panel must be removed as there is one screw that must be accessed from the back.
In posts about that discussion about a year ago several folks mentioned and showed pics the same as the OP. At least one said they had the dealer try to fix the alignment. They tried and could not get it right.
I saved pics from their posts (see below!)
Made my decision-would not spend ~$300 to have my "spear" covered with my seat color and they not be able to get the door panel installed so it didn't line-up properly!
My $10 solution was good enough for me! A forum member found this matching color trim that finished it just fine! My original lined-up perfectly and so does the added trim.
Wow this seams to be a larger issue with these cars. It goes in tomorrow and I'll let the dealer see if they can realign it.
Be interesting to see what they say. Taking the door panel off is a PIA! Then making "adjustments" is probably not easy. Nothing in the Service Manual that talks about adjustments. Perhaps a good body shop would be able to do it with shims, etc. But those two pics and your pic, show it's "in" too far. Not sure how you can shim backward!
All fixed! Somehow the panel had come off the clips. They said if it happens again they would replace the entire door panel and clips. Great service!
That IS the problem, nothing else. I noticed it when I took the door panel off and put it back on. When I put it back on I didn't have the top clips hooked so that pushed the trim outward causing the misalignment. It looked like it was on correctly so it took me a while and a few times taking it off and on before I finally figured it out. Once I hooked the top clip in the right place it lined up perfectly.
I thought I was the only one. I'm going to just put in a shim to line it up. My dealer has only 1 guy who works on Vettes, I'd have to make an appt. 2-3 days out, and leave it for 3-4 hours. And pray they don't break more stuff.
I'll fix it in 20 min when I get time.
2017 GS # 663 Delivered this way. Nice to hear I'm not the only one.....

I got lucky. Pulled in the bay and all the service writers were busy. The corvette tech walked by and said what's up. I pointed and he said hmmm. Popped the panel off and aligned the clips and done. He's like I've done a 100 of these. Have a great day and if it happens again we will replace everything. Got in my car and drove out. They never even wrote it up!
