Steering wheel won't telescope

I don't think I pushed anything but all of a sudden my steering wheel won't allow me to telescope it forward and backward. It goes up and down fine. Anyone ever have this happen to them?

I suspect someone will tell you if you can check a fuse.

You might also disconnect the negative terminal on your battery for around 5 minutes and then reconnect. That often resets gremlins.

Any specific fuse? The box legend isnt particularly useful. The battery disconnect was the first thing I did.

I don't see a fuse for the steering wheel in the engine bay. Anyone know which fuse box has the steering wheel?

If it goes up and down,it’s not the fuse.

Any ideas? I saw some posts in the C5 section about resetting the soft stop. I tried that too but it didn't budge. It tilts up and down fine, it just doesn't telescope no matter what. It occured so suddenly which makes me think electrical.

Mine just started having the same problem. I’ve had it back to the dealership to fix the position switch in the door, and now this.

I'm having the same exact issue. Steering wheel goes up and down, but won't telescope.
Tried pulling the fuse to no avail.

If I pull the **** towards me (to telescope closer) a couple times repeatedly, I'll hear a clunk as if it's trying to move forward. Same thing happens if I press it repeatedly to get shorter.
