Default Carbon Fiber Plenum

I would like to replace my plenum on my C7 z51 with a carbon fiber plenum ( not a cover ). Does anyone have any recommendations based on personal experience? I have heard that some are subject to cracking and would like one that has not had this issue.

I have the APR piece that I purchased from RPI Designs. I've had it for over a year with no problems and am very pleased.

That engine bay looks really good! Love the yellow. So, your plenum is not a cover but a replacement plenum? Was it hard to remove/replace? Or dealer install? Thanks.

Just to be clear, the item in question from the factory is a cover that goes over the intake. There are vendors that sell what amounts to a cover that goes over the factory cover.

This is a replacement of the factory cover, not a piece that goes over the top of it, and the piece I have is not dipped hydrocarbon. It is a real deal carbon fiber replacement piece.

It is 4 bolts to replace. Biggest issue i had was breaking a wiring connector because there was not enough slack in the wires. There are a couple wiring harnesses that you have to move out of the way, and I didn't disconnect a sensor that i should have before moving the harness.

Hope this helps.

I have seen this one at RPI and it does look really good. Did you also get your smooth fuel rails from them and did you replace the lower fuel rails?

Yes, they did the fuel rail covers, and no, I did not do lowers.

I like how clean the colors look together. Thanks for the information.
