Tons of posts about Torque Converter failure causing this (not assuming your's will be). Seems to more often happen to non-Z cars. Search for posts, it might be under stickies at top of page also, can't check while typing. PS: Just looked & there is a HUGE sticky thread discussing this, way more than you will ever read thru.
Also, this is covered under warranty if you still have one.

Forgot this too (DOH!), go to corvetteactioncenter.com, under C7/clutch & transmission to see all reported problems & service bulletins associated with this to explain/show to dealer.
