Default 2015 Convertible

How many 2015 Corvette convertibles were produced in Victory Red with the Kalahari interior?

In 2015 the color was crystal red not victory red. I have a 2015 convertible in crystal red with the Kalahari interior so the number is at least 1.

Victory Red is a slightly oranger version of Torch Red. Over the years, Corvette has routinely switched back and forth between the two, but they've never been offered at the same time. All "true red" C7s have been Torch thus far.

Love the combination, had it with my 2001 C5 vert.

I'm gonna step out on the limb, and assume he means Torch Red.

Here's some numbers bud. They don't break them down to the level you're looking for on this one though.

When you choose a Torch Red C7 with a Kalahari Brown convertible top, you run the alienation risk in terms of resale desirability. If that means anything to you. Black top on Torch Red is a far more desirable color combo.

I assume you mean that a torch red convertible with kalahari top and interior would be worth less than one with a black top and interior if I decided to re-sell it or trade it in. I am looking at a 2015 with that color combination. It has the LT3 package and some other options and has just under 34,000 miles on it. I am not "in love" with the Kalahari color, but prefer not to have a black top/black interior. Had that combination on my Z28 convertible and it is much too hot since I live in the South. I really liked the cashmere interior of the C5's/C6's, especially since they had light colored carpets to match. The Kalahari, or some some say "peanut putter" interior has black carpets and a black dash, which is less desirable in my book. I am also looking at a 2008 C5, torch red, with cashmere interior and top. It only has 16,700 miles on it and also has the LT3 package, Z51 package, and other options. But it seems a little overpriced at $ 32,000. Having a hard time deciding which is the better option. Like the low mileage, better color combination of the 2008, but also like the styling, performance, 8 speed auto, interior upgrades of the 2015 for about
$10,000 more and it is 7 years "newer". Since I have wanted a Corvette since I was 16 (and am now 64 and can afford it), I am just trying to find the most comfortable and best bang for the buck. Any opinions, comments, or suggested would be very much appreciated. Carl Maxwell, Lancaster, SC - not an owner yet (but getting real close!).

Carl, just some food for thought. While the C6 is a fine car (and yes that '08 is overpriced), the C7 is light years ahead of the C6. For your first dream car Corvette I highly suggest a C7. I'm you're age, and we have more years behind us than we do in front of us. Get a C7, and have a blast my friend.

No idea whether it's "worth less," just less salable/desirable. Buying oddball color combos and "Collectors Editions," haven't recouped their up charges or oddball colors on ease of sale days. The 2017 3LT convertible top is well insulated from heat and direct sun rays - even in black. So, correlation with black Z28, convertible tops is a dead/non issue. In fact, the insulation value of the C7 3LT exceeds the hatchback roof panels. Amazing, just amazing!
