This is probably a silly question but what it the max people have hit. I have only gotten as high as .76 G since I've owned mine. Never been on a track though. Curious about street and track results people have experienced.

It would have been nice if our cars kept the high G reading rather than only the instantaneous reading - which is too dangerous to look at while driving. Those of us with PDR can see afterward what we did.

I agree. I have a passenger look over at the DIC when I corner to see what I peaked out at. And yes, if I am by myself I use the PDR so I can review the driving experience at a convenient time. One can't take eyes off the road while cornering at 1 G. I have reached that level of force a few times with my plain old C7 Stingray.
My PDR has reported 1.38 G and 1.36 G on a couple occasions. On track days of course. On a regular road, 1.02G is probably the highest I've seen on my PDR.

Heck I have only been up to .9! I thought it would lose grip over 1G! Like the sound barrier or something. It is hard to turn your head and remember to look....guess I have some training to do!

The old one was limited to displaying -1.27 to +1.28 (0-255) so it sounds like the C7 has a bigger range than the C6 did.
My son and I made a sharp left turn last year and I believe the G meter showed 1.05. He watched the meter since I didn't want to take eyes off the turn. It was a hot AZ day and the tires were sticky. Took the turn about 40 mph with no brakes. No fish tail - just stayed on the line like rails.

For sure.
Normally I get around 0.8 to 1.2 in turns but as high as 1.4 G under braking on my Z51 with Bridgestone Potenza S007A tires (265 F / 305 R) on Sebring based on Harry's Lap Timer on my iPhone.
