I’m on board with pissed off vic! Parked my 2012 srt challenger, black, out in the empty, long walking, parking lots every place I go. Parked it it was daylight, no cars around plenty of empty places closer to the restaurant we went to. Dark when we left, washed it the next day, $647 dent rear quarter panel. He’s right a lot of people don’t give a ****! *** holes!! Btw traded it for a 2018 stingray, now I’m even more paranoid. We try to find a seat if were dinning, where I can keep an eye on the vette.

Since owning my first Vette 14years ago and discovering that certain people liked parking right next to me in an otherwise empty parking area, I’ve learned to just shrug my shoulders and repeat my little saying that goes like this...
No matter where you park, somebody’s going to park right next to you.
While I still park as carefully as I possibly can, I no longer worry about it. I’ve got a great body shop that can fix any damage and make it look like it never happened. Life’s too short to always be worrying about stuff like that. Plus, in owning a Corvette for many years, nobody has ever messed with it neither has it sustained any door dings.
LOL
Funny thing happened just the other day. Go to park my Vette of course away from everyone else. One car near where I park, guy is in a Buick Regal. Drops his window down and say's to me nice Vette, I wanted one but my wife would not let me buy one because she said it is an old man's car. I look at the guy and he has to be in his 50's. I tell him
life is short get what makes you happy, oh and by the way keep an eye on my Vette while I go in the store.
