Default 2019 Corvette will not start

Drove my new 2019 Vette from the dealership to my house. About 95 miles. Turned the car off and tried to restart. Car will not start. The engine cranks, but it seems like the car is not getting fuel. Has anyone else experienced this issue? So disappointed. The dealership sent tow truck to take back to the dealership to fix☹️

Probably something simple. Don’t sweat it.

That’s what “warranty” is for — so you don’t have to worry about it or try to figure out what it is yourself.

But — this being CorvetteForum, there are those who will soon chime in, saying you need to demand that GM buy the car back, because it isn’t 100% flawless!

I'm pretty sure it will be something just got disconnected. But I understand your disappointment. They'll probably trace it down in about 10 minutes once they get it inside and hook up to the on board diagnostics port and detect the point of failure.

But, the paint's nicer now, right?

Seriously, though, they'll take care of it.

I know how you feel. Factory ordered a ‘78 Trans Am in late ‘77. Car came in early ‘78. Had to have it towed back to the selling dealer TWICE before I could get back to work (5 miles away) after picking it up. Seems one of the heater hoses was loose, let all the coolant come out-I noticed the gauge before it got too hot, plus no heat from the vents. Second tow back because it got warm enough to cause the thermostat to not open. Drive the car into the early 90s with many parking lot autocrosses, Texas World Speedway Road course days, and some drags. Car never left me stranded the rest of the time I owned it.

stupid questions:

1) if it's an A8 did you make sure it's in Park and you didn't turn it off in M or N?
2) if it's an M7, are you depressing the clutch and brake when you try to start it?

1. A8: Must be in Park and depress brake pedal.
2. M7: Must depress only the clutch pedal.

It sounds like he is past that point since the engine is cranking. It just won’t fire up.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Belle, but as stated above it's probably something simple. I do understand your disappointment, but you should be fine.
