Front rubber splitter breaking

My air dams scrap the road surfaces several times a day driving my C7. Twice before I even get on public streets. My neighbor who owns a C2, sez he hears mine all the time. I told him it was the flexible rubber air dam - not the fiberglass fairing! Maybe you don't have grades to negotiate? Most of us routinely rub them. I don't know that the guy is "hitting stuff?" Maybe he is, and maybe he isn't? The rubber air dams better last a long time, cuz I'm giving mine a workout.

I'm finally getting my front (poverty) splitter put on by the dealer tomorrow. Can someone tell me whether I'll be able to put the center air dam back on with the poverty splitter already mounted? I mean, I don't see any reason why not, but want to make sure otherwise I have to do it tonight.
