Rev It Up
I'm needing some advice / help with my 2017 GS M7 w/11000 miles.. In the last couple of mornings while backing into my standard parking place at work, a strange thing happens. Back in, foot on clutch, set the parking brake, and the car revs up by it's self. It'll run up to about 1500 rpm for a count of 3. No AC on, no rev match.on, I'm just sitting there.The car idles down and all seems well. This morning though same deal, but I guess I pulled on the rev match while turning up the volume on the radio. Pulled in a described, and the car revs to 3500 and doesn't slow down. I turned it off, restarted it, idled right along, smooth as glass. I'm guessing a rev match malfunction, but it had happened even though it wasn't engaged the first couple of times it occurred. Ya'll. I'd rather figure this out myself, but I kinda know it's gonna need to be violated by a dealer. Anyone else had this happen?? Thanks for any help.
