Track Car Use
How do we get a section on the forum for cars that are tracked, the experience of tracking, times, issues with the car, tires used, tire pressures used and so on? Any one here ahead of me on how to get a section dedicated for this kind of thread/section.
Has anyone read the C7 A8 GS manual and followed the setup for track use. I was surprised that the front tire pressure was 26psi for the Super Sport. The tires have held up very well for seven track sessions at Auto Club Speedway using the Roval course. My son did lap times of 2:06/2:02/1:58. I did 1:56 (traffic) 1;52( traffic) / 1:48/1:48. Next week I believe I should be able to bring the time down to 1:45 with my son out of the car. If you look up Speed Ventures Roval times you will find that a 1:45 is generally at the top of the list for all street production cars.
Has anyone found a race slick that will fit the current wheels or do I need to go to a different wheel set?

Stock Wheels are extremely tire limited. I run CCW 18” wheels with R7 slicks in a 315/345 combo.
