Here’s an update. Found a 2018 GS 1LT. Black/Black 4K miles used. Has MSRP of $73170. Thoughts on a price of $57900? Might be able to negotiate a bit lower.
that’s about 20% off msrp. You may be able to find a similar price on a new 2018 if you’re not too picky on color and options and such. If it’s exactly what you want I don’t think it’s a terrible deal though.
If you're not picky, find/search for the biggest discount off percentage on cars dot com. You might have to travel to pick it up, or pay to have it shipped to you.
If you are picky, you're going to have to buy where and what you finally find. I bought a new 2017 in November '17 that was in-State, equipped almost exactly how I wanted my C7. Downside; I only got -17% off MSRP. It all depends on what you want on color, options, etc.

Sounds like a decent deal since it is used not new. They probably got it for around $50k from the previous owner. I would go design a C7 the way you like and then decide what you can live without. Local dealer here in Utah has a $84k MSRP 17 GS 3LT new for around $69k (actually offered it to me for $66k last October with a GS stripe added in. The problem is it is not what I wanted. While it is nice I could care less about a $3k stage 2 ground effects package for example and white/red combo is actually pretty common here.
I am going to watch closely over the next little while to see what shakes out. I may wait until winter and hope for some crazy deals in the north especially if sales remain flat. I lucked out that way when I bought my 2004.
