Default My first Corvette!

Hello everyone! I just picked up a brand new 2019 Stingray with only 4 miles on it . Coming from a modified cammed 2010 Camaro SS I was familiar with the LS2 motors. But man was I suprised at the output these LT1 motors put out This will be my daily driver and I was a bit concerned about the comfort. But again the Stingray did not disappoint. I also had a 2015 C Class Mercedes and these seats are by far way more comfortable than the Benz. It's your base 1LT with no fancy bells and whistles. But these cars come pretty well equipped. Here is a quick pic. Looking forward to chatting with you fellas. Please let me know if there is anything I should be looking out for as far as any mechanical or technical issues. I'm still trying to decide which display I like best

Oh man! Killer color! Love it when someone buys, comes on here excited to be an owner. Read owner's manual cover to cover & have some small sticky notes to mark pages of interest. Others swear by downloading the OM to tablet, pad, etc, they say makes it easier to locate particular things, I assume like a search engine for the OM items. Others who have done this help him (ME) with suggestions how to do this. Again, Congrats!

I really like the black/black wheels/red calipers. Did you remove the fish?

Looks like the fish is still there. I like the Stingray emblem.

The stingray is blacked out. Hard to see but it’s still there.

From one 1LT owner to another, welcome! I also went from an LS2 (in my 2005 Corvette) to this LT1 and I love it!

Forgot to mention. Might as well just get rid of the stealth mode exhaust. That’s one feature I will never use

Congratulations on your Vette.

My last three Vettes have been 1LT daily drivers. They are comfortable daily drivers.

Nice ride! Mine is a 1LT as well, and my previous car (that I still own) was a 1998 Camaro SS. If you think going from the LS2 to the LT1 was a big step, try going from the LS1 to the LT1! Great googelie moogelie!

Love the black; nothing more intimidating than a clean pristine black corvette!
