Default Tinted Side Markers

I just saw a listing for 38.00 for window tint to do the side markers. WoW!
For 10.00 you can buy window tint at any auto parts store. You only need two square feet of the roll.

Cut a rectangle the size of the marker.
Peel the clear backing off of the tint. Use two pieces to clear tape.
Spray with soapy water the adhesive side of the tint.
Apply rectangle to the marker.
Spray with soapy water.
Squeegee out the bubbles.
Cut the tint with a very sharp exacto knife, tracing the edge of the marker.
Remove the excess tint from the car.
You just saved 30.00.

It does take about a day for the tint to dry and a week to completely adhere to the lenses. Don't wash the car for a week.

Not sure it's worth the extra money, but I paid a bit more to have my side markers removed, wrapped with tint, then re-installed. Very minor difference, but no seam or edge to curl or build a dirt/wax edge which is prevented by wrapping.

That said, yours looks just as good as mine!

Here's another option if you still want a pre-cut kit and save some $$$. I ordered one of those $30+ kits from someone on the forum, and what I ended up getting was shipped directly from a third party. I looked up the third party that had shipped it to me and found I could have purchased directly from them myself for about half what I had paid.

Here's the direct link: http://www.subject9.com/2014-2016-ch...r-tinting-kit/

Nice kit and came out pretty cool on mine, IMO:

Here are a pic of pre-cut vinyl side markers covers I purchased and installed for $15...Perfect fit and a very easy install....

These are a smoked tint and not black-outs like some others I've seen...very pleased...

I also did the rear reflectors...
