Default Exhaust valves

Has anyone had to replace the exhaust valves on a C7 ?
I have had to get mine replaced twice now. Both times it was due to tracking the car.
The rear bumper has to come off the car. Not exactly what I want done to a 6 month old car.

AFM valves yes. NPP valves no. It's a flawed design. They can't handle the heat.

One of the reasons why the Z06 does’t have the AFM valves, but I haven’t seen many NPP valves failing.

There are guys who have replaced multiple sets. I dont think you can have them removed because the car sounds like total ***. I thought that they had an updated design to prevent this?

the car will not sound like crap if u use a range device , always in v8 mode and along with a M2W switch always open ...and sound wonderful, like a vette should sound , if I wanted my fathers Buick I would have bought my fathers Buick .....I bought a corvette and I want it to sound like a vette
but.... you can't remove the AFM valves as the car will throw a code ....

My dads Vette has this problem. One of the AFM valves would stick open occasionally when the car went into 4cyl mode. It sounded horrible. Eventually the check engine light came on. It was fixed under warranty.

WOW I wonder if thats why I get that strange booming sound in the cabin once in awhile. I will have to have the dealer check the AFM valves for proper operation.

Well you could also drive the manual and skip the range device and it's related issues.

Can someone show/tell me where the AFM valves are located within the system?

Spin , if I wanted a manual , I would not have bought an A8 ..... and related issues with a Range , what related issues , its been well documented that Range has fixed the issues with the latest firmware release and will update any range device with the old firmware for free

Mine has been plugged in now for over 2 months without ONE PROBLEM ....
