I picked up a new 2017 Z51 M7 coupe about ten days ago and noticed “Service Stabilitrack” on the DIC as well as a “Service parking brake” light on. I drove the car on home about 7 miles from the dealer thinking this is just a C7 thing I could cure by reading the manual and tweaking some settings. This is my first C7 but my 7th Corvette the others being C3’s and C6’s so I think my unfamiliarity with the layout and look of the C7 instrument screen caused me to overlook these alerts when test driving the car. Probably the general excitement of picking up a new Corvette after being without one for a couple of years contributed to my lack of attention to them as well. Anyway after perusing the manual and not finding any resolution, I finally got time to take it in to the dealer and after a couple of days they called to tell me that they had diagnosed the problem and it was due to the wires to both front wheel speed sensors being cut as though by wire cutters.
The dealer is installing new speed sensors under warranty but I am wondering if anyone has seen this issue with their car that was caused by some natural means as opposed to malicious human action?

Just bought a 2021, drove it less that 70 miles, it's only been in my driveway. All the warning lights went on, dealer is saying speed sensor looks cut as well. How hard would it be for someone to "cut" it?

Seems very strange that someone would vandalize a car and concentrate on cutting speed sensor wires. Hopefully the dealer can come up with some other explanation for the problem.
It would be nice to see a picture of the cut wires and location. If at the connector it could be an overcrimp situation or corrosion from a nick but we don't know without seeing it. Interesting and I hope a repair gets you back on the road soon.
